Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner Level 2 to support planning and coordination activities for electrical power generation maintenance projects, with a focus on Wind operations. This role is responsible for project planning, procurement support, cost and schedule estimating, and outage execution coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning of major and minor equipment maintenance activities for power generation plants
  • Perform cost estimating and schedule development for maintenance projects
  • Administer procurement contracts and maintain required documentation
  • Coordinate outage planning activities to ensure continuity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with vendors, engineering, analytics, and fleet execution teams
  • Develop and validate job scopes and work instructions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support standardization efforts
  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in planning, maintenance coordination, or material planning
  • Experience supporting power generation, utilities, wind energy, or industrial maintenance environments
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with procurement contract administration
  • Exposure to outage planning and execution
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning tools or ERP systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
