Job Description:
Senior DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code Engineer (AWS Migration & AMI Pipelines)
Project Context
This role supports AWS migration and data center exit program. The engineer will focus on infrastructure automation, golden AMI pipelines, and EC2 migration execution using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using (CloudFormation, Terraform,..)
Build and manage golden AMI pipelines for Linux and Windows EC2 instances
Automate OS hardening, patching, and image promotion
Develop CI/CD pipelines for AMI and Terraform workflows
Support EC2 migrations using AWS MGN
Execute migration waves and cutover activities
Collaborate on discovery, dependency mapping, and runbooks
Produce documentation and support knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
5+ years of AWS DevOps or cloud engineering experience
CloudFormation and Terraform experience
Proven AMI/image pipeline experience (Linux & Windows)
Experience with Packer or equivalent tooling
Hands-on AWS MGN migration experience
CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Strong understanding of EC2, IAM, VPC, and security fundamental
Nice to Have
Large-scale migration or data center exit experience
Security/compliance automation experience
AWS certifications
