Part-Time IAM / OCI Identity Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IAM / OCI Identity Engineer to support an ongoing Oracle Fusion ERP implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), and Entra ID.

This is a 20-hour-per-week role supporting the business security and controls team as the security liaison for the Oracle Fusion ERP program. The resource will work closely with the implementation team to define, coordinate, and implement cybersecurity and identity requirements across the OCI platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) identity and security requirements.
• Provide hands-on expertise with Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS).
• Support Entra ID integration with applications and platform services.
• Implement and support user authentication, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Support automated identity and role provisioning between Entra ID, OCI, and Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Define platform-level logging and monitoring requirements.
• Coordinate integration with the client''''s threat detection and logging tools.
• Collaborate with domain management teams to support identity and security requirements.
• Work with Web Application Firewall (WAF) teams to implement vanity URLs and required integrations.
• Act as the security liaison between business teams, security/control teams, and the ERP implementation team.
• Coordinate and track cybersecurity requirements across different areas of the Oracle Fusion ERP platform.
• Work closely with the implementation partner and internal stakeholders to ensure security requirements are implemented correctly.
• Assist with security-related change windows and occasional after-hours activities when required.
• Develop technical documentation, security requirements, integration specifications, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong experience with Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS).
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience with identity federation, authentication, and user provisioning.
• Experience with user lifecycle management and automated provisioning.
• Strong understanding of enterprise identity integrations.
• Experience working with security, controls, and implementation teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently for approximately 20 hours per week during standard U.S. business hours.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience integrating Entra ID with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP identity and role provisioning.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP security and identity architecture.
• Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) integrations.
• Experience with vanity URL implementation.
• Knowledge of security logging, monitoring, and threat detection platforms.
• Experience working on large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP implementations.
• Experience working with enterprise security and controls teams.

Role Structure

• 20 hours per week
• Monday–Friday during regular U.S. business hours
• Remote – anywhere in the United States
• Generally no on-call requirement
• Occasional after-hours support may be required during security-related change windows
• Potential opportunity to transition to a full-time role depending on project requirements and performance

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an OCI IAM Engineer / Identity Architect with strong IDCS and Entra ID experience who understands how enterprise identity platforms integrate with Oracle Fusion ERP. The candidate should be comfortable acting as a bridge between security teams, business stakeholders, and the ERP implementation team while ensuring identity, authentication, provisioning, and security requirements are properly implemented.
