Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Lead (NewCo Carve-outs | Corp Infra | DC/Office Network Setup | M365 | Cloud)Role Overview
You will lead delivery of corporate infrastructure capabilities (identity, network, endpoint, collaboration, security, monitoring) with strong Microsoft Azure experience, working knowledge of AWS, and proven ability to coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable environments.The ideal candidate will have strong Azure experience, working knowledge of AWS, and the ability to lead technical implementations, solve complex infrastructure challenges, and ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Implementation & Delivery
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud and infrastructure solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure with working knowledge of AWS environments.
- Drive end-to-end infrastructure implementation, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security configurations.
- Lead NewCo carve-out infrastructure stand-up activities, including separation planning, dependency mapping, TSA requirements, Day 1 readiness, and cutover execution.
- Deliver DC/office network setup (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet edge, firewalls, VPN/ExpressRoute), core infrastructure services (DNS/DHCP/NTP, PKI/certificates, identity integration), and connectivity to cloud environments.
- Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to translate solution designs into successful deployments.
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project execution.
- Facilitate technical discussions, workshops, and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders.
- Ensure client expectations are managed effectively while delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.
- Implement and administrate the Management Groups and Subscriptions
- Lead M365/Entra implementation for carve-outs, including tenant-to-tenant migration approach (Exchange/SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams), identity and access design, device/endpoint management alignment, and security baseline implementation.
- Identity and Access Management
- Network architecture (Hub-Spoke / Virtual Networks).
- Security policies and governance controls
- Monitoring and logging frameworks
- Work with Cloud Architects to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership during infrastructure deployments and migrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges during project implementation.
- Guide engineering teams on best practices for cloud infrastructure and operational stability.
Service Management & Operational Readiness
- Ensure infrastructure solutions are built with operational excellence and service management practices in mind.
- Work with operations teams to ensure smooth handover into support and managed services.
- Support processes aligned with incident management, change management, and service continuity.
- Plan and run Day 1/Day 2 stabilization (hypercare), including monitoring/alerting readiness, runbooks, support model definition, and transition from project delivery to BAU operations.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects and technical initiatives from planning through execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including cloud, network, security, and application teams.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely and successful delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven implementation experience delivering NewCo carve-outs / separations (infrastructure stand-up, migrations, and cutovers), ideally in complex enterprise environments.
- Cloud & Infrastructure (Delivery + Implementation)Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, including leading infrastructure delivery across multiple technical domains.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Experience with computer networking, storage, and identity services in Azure cloud environment and good to have on AWS.
- Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments
Technical Expertise
- Infrastructure implementation and migration experience.
- Experience delivering DC/office network builds and connectivity (routing/switching, firewalls, VPN, WAN/SD-WAN, Wi-Fi) including integration with cloud networking.
- Entra ID and M365 implementation (and carve-out migration) knowledge with hands-on experience across identity, access, collaboration, and security controls.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of automation, infrastructure-as-code, or deployment frameworks is a plus
Service Management
- Understanding of IT service management practices (ITIL preferred)
- Experience transitioning solutions into operational support environments
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and technical domains
- Experience managing technical delivery and infrastructure projects
- Strong delivery leadership: build and manage plans, RAID logs, dependencies, cutover runbooks, and vendor coordination to meet committed milestones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Service Management certification.
- AWS certification (Associate level or higher or practitioner)
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure or managed services environments.
- Experience supporting M&A integration/separation programs, TSA exit planning, or large-scale enterprise carve-outs.
