Job Description

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python backend development, data engineering across structured and unstructured sources, and modern machine learning including LLMs and GenAI and a proven ability to design and deliver robust, scalable applications and data services that meet architectural standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement robust Python-based solutions.


• Extract and analyze data from structured and unstructured sources across data lakes, SQL, and NoSQL.


• Work with global Technology teams across time zones in a hybrid model.


• Develop software using Object-Oriented Programming principles and established standards.


• Mentor and coach junior developers.


• Drive resolution of high-impact problems by evaluating business and system processes.


• Ensure application design aligns with architectural blueprints and best practices.


• Define and follow standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.


• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and deliver solutions.


• Implement unit testing and TDD to ensure quality and maintainability.


• Assess risk and uphold compliance, policy adherence, ethical judgment, and transparent issue management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and core libraries such as NumPy and pandas.


• Experience with data platforms including data lakes, SQL databases, and NoSQL stores.


• 3-5 years building scalable, reliable machine learning systems for training, inference, monitoring, and iteration.


• Exposure to ML/DL/LLM algorithms, model architectures, and training techniques.


• Proficiency utilizing LLMs in backend or data workflows.


• Strong understanding of OOP, unit testing, and TDD practices.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global teams.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating ML/LLM services into Python backends and data pipelines.


• Background in enterprise architecture standards and secure software development practices.
