Summary

IntePros is currently seeking a CAD/CAE Engineer to join one of our growing engineering clients in Redmond, Washington. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Creo CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems who enjoys maintaining engineering data integrity and supporting product development teams through accurate CAD data management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring engineering data quality by updating, organizing, and validating CAD models, assemblies, and product structures while supporting CAD and PLM system integration.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CAD data cleanup and ensure engineering data accuracy within CAD and PLM systems.
  • Update and validate part and assembly metadata, including naming conventions, attributes, and file structures.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies between CAD models, assemblies, parts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Modify and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models to align with company standards and engineering requirements.
  • Support CAD file standardization and ensure proper integration with PLM systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, CAD designers, and PLM administrators to maintain accurate product structures.
  • Execute engineering data management activities with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow established engineering standards, documentation procedures, and quality processes.
  • Independently complete assigned engineering data tasks while communicating progress and issues to project stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to CAD data quality and engineering documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working with CAD software, preferably PTC Creo.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Windchill, Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating, modifying, and maintaining 2D and 3D CAD models and assemblies.
  • Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), part structures, metadata, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Ability to work independently while following established engineering processes and standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting CAD-to-PLM integration initiatives.
  • Knowledge of engineering change management (ECN/ECO) processes.
  • Previous experience performing CAD data migration, cleanup, or standardization projects.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or industrial engineering environment.
