Manage biannual Workday release cycles, ensuring smooth updates and adoption.
Identify, recommend, and track process improvements. Analyze operational issues, formulate solutions, and implement efficient, cost-effective fixes.
Develop and maintain custom Workday reports (Advanced, Composite, Matrix), validation rules, calculated fields, and EIB-based integrations.
Implement best practices and standards for financial systems in support of Finance functions.
Understand the accounting data flows deeply; develop documentation like process flows, data mapping tables, test scenarios, and best practice playbooks.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials (implementation or support).
Certification in Workday Customer Accounts & Revenue Management, with a track record of at least 3 successful implementations.
Certification in Workday Advanced Reporting.
Deep understanding of Workday security frameworks and business process model.
Critical Skills & Domain Knowledge
Expertise in the Invoice-to-Cash domain.
Experience working with third-party tax services.
Strong customer focus: the ability to anticipate, prioritize, and respond proactively to both internal and external stakeholder needs.
Preferred / Additional Experience
Experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools.
Background in revenue recognition and revenue accounting.
Ability to build advanced Workday reports: standard, advanced, matrix, composite - including complex calculated fields and custom objects.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Self-starter mindset, with strong initiative and the ability to iterate quickly.
Demonstrated ability to build commitment and alignment across teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
