Role Overview
This position involves overseeing the logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment. The role requires performing advanced administrative and operational duties with independent initiative and judgment. The technician will focus on ensuring the maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards for prescription drug distribution equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines and systems.
- Ensure maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards.
- Evaluate mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency.
- Oversee and implement prescription drug distribution equipment.
- Recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput, and improve quality.
- Perform tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
- Exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and adapting procedures, processes, and techniques.
