Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Required Experience

• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Lead / Lead Software Engineer role

• Strong experience leading engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and delivery ownership for a team of software engineers developing and operating scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS

• Lead engineers in delivering business-critical enterprise applications

• Define and enforce technical direction, architectural standards, coding practices, and engineering best practices

• Drive solution design and architecture across Spring Boot microservices, AWS infrastructure, OpenSearch platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and observability solutions

• Lead AWS cloud adoption, application modernization, and cloud-native transformation initiatives

• Design and implement highly scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing distributed systems

• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, DevOps, Platform, and Engineering teams to deliver business objectives

• Promote DevOps, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment practices

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity practices

• Ensure applications meet required standards for performance, security, availability, reliability, and scalability

• Mentor software engineers, conduct technical reviews, and improve engineering processes and development standards

• Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and operational excellence initiatives

• Drive continuous improvement across software development, release management, monitoring, and production support processes
