Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and design of SAP solutions for AP, AR, GL, HR, Supply Chain, Asset Management, and meter-to-cash.
Serve as the lead SAP Solution Architect for one of the following projects:
Meter-to-Cash: Architect solutions that enhance revenue management, billing, and customer interactions in utility operations.
Enterprise Asset Management (EAM): Focus on asset lifecycle management, including maintenance, asset performance, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.
Guide and oversee the development team throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment.
Prepare technical design documents for complex projects involving custom integrations, and data migration.
Define Architecture Principles, Patterns, Blueprints, Guidelines, and Standard Methodologies.
Identify, formulate, and evaluate risks associated with Application Architecture design options.
Evaluate best system-fit for a capability (e.g. manage an asset, manage a document, manage a process exception, etc.) while considering an enterprise landscape.
Application Road mapping, Architecture modeling and communication using different tools like PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
Work Cross-Functionally with Architects, Product Managers, Design Engineers, Developers and Business Analysts.
Qualifications:
10+ years of SAP experience
5+ years of SAP Solution Architect experience
Must have solutioning experience with SAP in one of the following modules: Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Asset Management, and/or meter-to-cash
Proven track record in integrating SAP systems with various enterprise applications.
Experience in leading large-scale SAP implementation or migration projects.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards within the utilities domain.
Proficient with Architecture modelling and communication using different tools like PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Sparx Enterprise Architect
Experienced with modelling notations like UML and Archimate
Experience with multiple project management methodologies including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in establishing and managing customer relationships and effectively managing expectations
SAP certification(s) in related modules or architecture is a plus.
