Basic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a software engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems in Quincy, MA, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art applications for unmanned undersea vehicles. You will work on software encompassing the full life cycle of these systems, from embedded control code to GUI-based topside tools for planning and monitoring missions.

- Able to work both independently and as part of a product development team.
- Linux and Windows experience is highly desirable; hardware experience is a plus.
