Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Location: Austin, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

The Operator 1 supports engineering teams by organizing requests, handling materials, maintaining inventory documentation, and assisting with logistics and basic troubleshooting.
This role ensures efficient lab operations, proper material movement, and accurate record-keeping while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Organize and prioritize requests from engineering teams based on urgency.
Support the organization and handling of materials and hardware.
Assist with moving materials to required locations for testing or processing.
Accurately complete paperwork associated with inventory transfers.
Maintain proper housekeeping in the lab and perform additional duties as assigned.
Communicate with engineers and product teams regarding requests.
Coordinate with vendors on logistics related to board repair.
Support basic equipment and hardware troubleshooting.

Should Have:

Lab experience preferred.
Previous integrated circuit or board test experience preferred.
Ability to work a compressed work week schedule.
Ability to stand for extended periods.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including email communication, spreadsheet updates, and document review.
Ability to lift and carry materials as required.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
