Description
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, optimization, and maintenance of our organization's databases. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical data-driven initiatives and support organizational goals through effective database management.
Responsibilities:
Manage the administration and performance of organizational databases to ensure reliability and data accuracy.
Develop and implement dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support recruitment, engagement, revenue forecasting, and operational strategies.
Establish and enforce data governance policies, quality standards, and documentation to maintain data integrity.
Monitor database performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Supervise database-related projects, including special assignments, to support organizational objectives.
Provide leadership and guidance to database staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Analyze data systems and identify opportunities for process optimization and increased accuracy in revenue tracking.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions to meet business needs.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of organizational data through robust database management practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing databases in a detail-oriented environment.
Expertise in database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and MySQL.
Proven ability to develop dashboards and analytic reports using business intelligence tools or data visualization software.
Strong performance tuning and optimization skills for database systems.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to maintaining data security and compliance standards.
