A mainframe developer with strong IBM Assembler (HLASM) skills is a specialist responsible for developing| maintaining| and modernizing critical| low-level enterprise applications that require precise control and high performance. This role often involves supporting legacy systems in core industries like banking and finance.

Role Descriptions:
Development and Maintenance
Creating| enhancing| and maintaining mainframe applications using Assembler| often in conjunction with other languages like COBOL| CICS| PLI| and JCL.

Debugging and Issue Resolution
Performing active debugging| performance tuning| and issue resolution using specialized tools like IBM Debug Tool| Fault Analyzer| and IPCS to analyze dumps and logs.

System Programming
Working with MVS supervisor services| 64-bit| and cross-memory services for advanced system programming tasks.

Modernization Efforts
Participating in projects to migrate and modernize mainframe systems| which may involve working with cloud technologies or AI-powered features.

Collaboration
Working closely with system analysts| operations teams| and client stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and reliability
