Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an Analyst with 5+ years of experience supporting strategic procurement, vendor management, and technology sourcing initiatives across software, cloud, telecommunications, hardware, and professional services. This person must have a strong background partnering with business and technical stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, analyze spend data, evaluate supplier proposals, and drive cost optimization opportunities. The Analyst works closely with Legal, Cybersecurity, Finance, Privacy, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure compliance with commercial, security, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
* Experience leading RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs from requirements gathering through contract execution, including negotiation of software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, MSAs, and SOWs
* Proven ability to leverage data analysis, market benchmarking, supplier scorecards, and procurement metrics to identify cost savings, mitigate risk, and support sourcing decisions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive, technical, and supplier audiences
* Experience managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, building strong supplier relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor on technology sourcing best practices, contract negotiations, vendor risk, and operational cost reduction strategies
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, procurement systems, spend analysis, and sourcing tools
* Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and technology procurement best practices
* Experience negotiating software licensing, cloud services, telecommunications, hardware, and professional services agreements
* Skilled in analyzing large datasets to evaluate vendor performance, spending patterns, utilization trends, and financial impact, enabling data-driven purchasing strategies
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, procurement platforms, spend analysis tools, and data visualization/reporting solutions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to executive, technical, and supplier audiences
* Understanding of commercial, legal, financial, cybersecurity, and vendor risk considerations within the procurement lifecycle
* Ability to identify and implement cost savings, cost avoidance, and O&M reduction opportunities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
