Job Description

Notes and key responsibilities:

Assess current third-party data landscape, including usage, sourcing, value, redundancy, and governance.
Identify cost savings, cost avoidance, and operational optimization opportunities related to third-party data.
Develop a practical roadmap for third-party data optimization and governance, including the definition of a future “golden source.”
Establish centralized visibility into third-party data contracts, purchases, usage, and ownership.
Identify duplicate, underutilized, or non-strategic third-party data spend and define opportunities for savings and cost avoidance.
Define governance controls and a future-state single source of truth for third-party data assets and purchases.
Support longer-term Customer 360 opportunities by improving visibility into where third-party data resides, how it is used, and how it is governed.

Project Overview:

The first workstream will focus on near real-time advanced analytics for the end-to-end customer experience.
This includes data mining, exploratory analysis, strategic analytics, and AI-enabled analysis across customer experience, finance, and journey data to identify friction points, detractors, and opportunities across systems, policies, procedures, and service interactions.
The workstream will also define measurable impacts of customer experience program changes, support customer experience economics, develop Moment of Truth scorecards, and generate insights related to early-life customer behavior, including the first 90 days of service.
The second workstream will focus on third-party data optimization. This includes stakeholder coordination across Sourcing, Business Units, Engineering, and Corporate Strategy to assess current third-party data usage, identify optimization opportunities, reduce duplication, improve governance, and establish a roadmap toward a “golden source” for third-party data. Additionally, Improving will assist to assess and prioritize opportunities that believes may represent up to $8 million in savings or cost avoidance, subject to validation.
