Overview:
Seeking a self-motivated Identity Management Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization. This role focuses on the operational health, engineering, and project support of our enterprise-scale Identity Platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring a stable and secure environment while helping the team navigate complex integrations and cloud-based platforms like AWS.
Key responsibilities
Engineer, configure, customize, and support the Identity Management environment (MIM/ADLDS).
Manage and maintain the underlying SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and robust backup/recovery for the identity stack.
Translate business needs into workable technology solutions and develop detailed architecture, standards, and implementation documentation.
Develop automated solutions using scripts, pipelines, and cloud-based server-less computing platforms to modernize manual processes.
Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for complex, high-severity incidents. Provide 24x7x365 support for the IAM ecosystem.
Analyze the current Authentication Services environment to identify technical opportunities and develop action plans for optimization.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Client Identity Manager (MIM) and Forefront Identity Manager (FIM), including synchronization services and multiple reference implementations.
Proven experience in SQL Server maintenance, specifically supporting high-availability identity management databases.
Strong coding and scripting experience using .net, PowerShell, and vbscript.
4+ years supporting large-scale, enterprise-level identity and directory service solutions (AD, ADLDS/ADAM).
Foundational understanding of AWS cloud security and experience with automated server-less computing.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with EC2, CFT, and AWS cloud infrastructures
3+ years of experience developing complex scripts in PowerShell, VBScript, YAML, Python or other languages to develop automated solutions
2+ years of experience with securing and managing Active Directory at an enterprise level
3+ PowerShell advanced
3+ Splunk (querying, dashboards), New Relic (Identity Security, compliance NIST, Group Policy controls, Governance polices), Observability
