Position Summary

We are seeking an L2 Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery within our Business Escrow Services technology group. This role goes beyond basic facilitation; you will act as a servant leader for cross-functional teams developing high-stakes financial applications for M&A settlements and specialized distributions. You will be responsible for removing systemic blockers, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring that delivery remains aligned with both business goals and the rigorous regulatory standards of the banking industry

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation & Delivery Excellence

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery.
• Act as a servant leader to the team, removing impediments and enabling continuous improvement in Agile practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum principles while maintaining compliance with banking standards.
• Track and report sprint progress, risks, and dependencies using Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Drive team performance by fostering accountability, transparency, and a high-performing Agile culture.

Banking Integration & Compliance

• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure Agile processes remain compliant with banking standards (BSA/AML, audit trails, and risk management) without sacrificing speed.
• Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate dependencies across multiple National Business Lines, ensuring that escrow platform updates do not negatively impact integrated payment or core banking systems.
• Escrow Domain Awareness: Maintain a functional understanding of escrow workflows-such as funds verification and multi-party authorization-to better facilitate technical discussions.

Metrics, Reporting & Tooling

• Performance Tracking: Utilize Azure DevOps or Jira to maintain real-time visibility into sprint progress through Burndown charts, Velocity tracking, and Cycle Time analysis.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and escalate delivery risks or dependencies that could impact high-value M&A closing timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of team norms, Definition of Done (DoD), and process improvements within Confluence or Azure Wikis.

Required Qualifications

Technical & Agile Expertise

• Experience: 4 7 years in Agile environments, with at least 2+ years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master.
• Frameworks: Deep mastery of Scrum and Kanban; experience with Scaling frameworks (SAFe or LeSS) is a significant plus.
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) is preferred.
• Tooling: Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps or Jira, specifically for work item tracking, dashboard creation, and repository management.

Professional & Industry Requirements

• Banking Background: Proven experience working within Banking or Financial Services, with an understanding of the unique constraints of a regulated environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge communication gaps between technical engineering teams and business-side Escrow Officers.
• Problem Solving: A proactive approach to conflict resolution and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
