Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Developer to join our team in building a new API Gateway Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing self-service tools and abstractions for onboarding new APIs, as well as expertise in configuration management using GitOps. Familiarity with Envoy based Gateways is highly desirable. If you have a passion for innovation and a desire to work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new Envoy Based API Gateway Platform, focusing on seamless onboarding of new APIs.
Create self-service tools to enhance the developer experience.
Implement configuration management practices using GitOps methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and align on API requirements.
Optimize and maintain the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Java and experience with React.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Experience with GitOps practices and tools for configuration management.
Knowledge and experience with Envoy based Gateways.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of API design principles and best practices.
Experience with cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture.
