Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Developer to join our team in building a new API Gateway Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing self-service tools and abstractions for onboarding new APIs, as well as expertise in configuration management using GitOps. Familiarity with Envoy based Gateways is highly desirable. If you have a passion for innovation and a desire to work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new Envoy Based API Gateway Platform, focusing on seamless onboarding of new APIs.
- Create self-service tools to enhance the developer experience.
- Implement configuration management practices using GitOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and align on API requirements.
- Optimize and maintain the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and experience with React.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools for configuration management.
- Knowledge and experience with Envoy based Gateways.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of API design principles and best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture.
