In this exciting, detail-powered position, you're the guardian of accurate, timely trauma data-collecting, curating, and transforming patient information into insights that help elevate care quality, performance, and outcomes. From coordinating the Trauma Registry and mastering data abstraction to collaborating with Trauma Program leadership, Process Improvement teams, and the Trauma Medical Director, you're at the center of a fast-paced, mission-critical program. You'll keep systems running smoothly, ensure compliance with state and national guidelines, fuel research, support accreditation, and maintain certifications through the Trauma Society's Registrar Board. Please note the following important details regarding this position:

• This position is a hybrid role based out of Lubbock Texas.
• Applicants must currently live within a 65-mile radius of Lubbock, Texas.
• Work schedules are defined by manager and departmental needs.

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma -OR- GED Equivalency
• 2 or more years of experience with data mining or data analyst projects or working medical professional with experience in related area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in a related field of study (I.E. Data Analysis, Mathematics, etc.) -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• Associate's Degree in a related field of study (I.E. LVN, EMT-P)
• Clinical Data Abstraction & Data Quality
• Regulatory & Registry Compliance (Trauma Registry)
• Data Management & Reporting
• Analytical Thinking & Attention to Detail
• Collaboration & Professional Stewardship

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
