Position: AWS Devops Lead Engineer
Type/Duration: Full time//Permanent
Location: San Antonio, TX (5 Days onsite in a week)
Required Skill and Experience
• Drive AWS platform engineering and self-service capabilities.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex AWS platform, and deployment/provisioning issues.
• Develop reusable modules, templates, and automated provisioning standards.
• Partner with security teams on policy-as-code and compliance automation.
• Enable cloud provisioning automation and environment standardization.
• Develop automation frameworks and operational tooling using Python.
• Automate monitoring, reporting, compliance checks, and cloud operations tasks.
• Integrate cloud and platform services through APIs.
• Reduce manual activities through intelligent automation.
• Build and govern Python-based automation utilities for AWS operations, validation, reporting, and compliance evidence collection.
• Use Python scripting and API integrations to automate repetitive operational, deployment, governance, and observability tasks.
Observability, Reliability & Operational Excellence
• Define observability strategy using Datadog.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and dashboard standards.
