Role: S4 Hana FI/CO Systems Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Finance (FI/CO) modules and proven experience in upgrading from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA. The ideal candidate will have participated in at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA upgrade project and possess extensive functional knowledge across S/4 HANA. This role requires strong collaboration with Controllership and Finance stakeholders, as well as technical teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of finance transformation initiatives.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and support SAP ECC to S/4 HANA upgrade projects, focusing on Finance (FI/CO) modules.
2. Drive functional design, configuration, and testing for S/4 HANA Finance processes.
3. Collaborate with Controllership and Finance teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
4. Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper integration and solution delivery.
5. Prepare functional specifications, oversee development, and perform unit and integration testing.
6. Provide guidance on best practices for S/4 HANA Finance processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
7. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during upgrade.
8. Deliver training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
9. Participate in cutover planning and go-live support.
Required Qualifications
• Deep SAP S/4 HANA FI/CO functional knowledge and S/4 HANA upgrade experience
• Experience with at least one full cycle ECC to S4 Hana upgrade project
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and product owners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
• Ability to direct and train other team associates
• Exceptional documentational skills with standard tools for data flows, like Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or other relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Project Systems and Group Reporting
• Experience with P2P application integration – Ariba and Concur
• Comfort in working with business and technical partners alike, this role bridges that gap
• Preferred experience in a banking/finance context with knowledge of financial accounting concepts
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
