Job Description

We are seeking a Vehicle NVH Test Engineer responsible for developing and executing test procedures to evaluate Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) performance in vehicles. The engineer will analyze NVH data, support vehicle-level acoustic performance targets, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize sound quality and reduce noise issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vehicle NVH testing, structural dynamics, acoustics, and signal processing, along with hands-on experience using NVH measurement equipment and analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute vehicle NVH test procedures to evaluate acoustic and vibration performance.

• Acquire, analyze, and interpret NVH data to support engineering decisions.

• Conduct vehicle and component-level testing to improve airborne and structure-borne noise performance.

• Work closely with Vehicle Integration, Body, Chassis, and Thermal teams to optimize NVH performance.

• Support vehicle-level NVH target setting and performance tracking.

• Perform modal testing and order analysis to identify and resolve NVH issues.

• Evaluate prototypes and production vehicles for noise and vibration improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field.

• 2 6 years of experience in NVH testing or vehicle acoustics.

• Strong knowledge of structural dynamics, acoustics, and digital signal processing.

• Hands-on experience with NVH data acquisition systems.

• Experience using accelerometers and microphones for testing.

• Experience performing modal testing and order analysis.

• Experience with Siemens TestLab and/or Artemis Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience taking a vehicle from concept to production.

• Experience with Road & Tire Noise analysis.

• Experience diagnosing Buzz, Squeak & Rattle (BSR) issues.

• Experience with Operational Sound Quality (OSQ) analysis.

• Experience using acoustic cameras or particle velocity probes.

• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams.
