Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $120,000 - $140,000/year DOE + Bonus

Join a growing team developing advanced battery energy storage systems, hybrid power solutions, and industrial electrical systems. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who wants to lead complex electrical design projects from concept through commissioning while influencing product performance, safety, and long-term reliability.

Education Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required


Experience Requirements


  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably with battery energy storage systems (BESS)

  • Experience with power electronics, industrial controls, and power distribution systems

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD software

  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 508A, UL 9540, IEEE standards, and industrial communication protocols is preferred


Job Duties


  • Lead electrical design and integration for energy storage, hybrid power, and industrial power systems

  • Develop electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and grounding plans

  • Design and integrate AC/DC power distribution, batteries, converters, transformers, switchgear, controls, and communication interfaces

  • Perform engineering calculations including load analysis, voltage drop, fault current, grounding, and protection studies

  • Support product development, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis

  • Lead design reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, customers, vendors, and field service teams

  • Mentor engineers and technicians through technical guidance and peer review
