Job Title: Director of AI and Automation
About the Role:
We are seeking a senior leader to oversee enterprise-level AI and automation initiatives. This role is responsible for setting strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enable data-driven decision-making. The position requires both technical expertise and business leadership, with a focus on scalable, secure, and ethical AI adoption.
Responsibilities:

Define and execute AI and automation strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Lead the development, deployment, and integration of AI models, ML algorithms, and automation solutions.

Partner with business and technology teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

Oversee governance frameworks ensuring security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

Manage evaluation and selection of AI platforms, automation tools, and external partners.

Monitor performance metrics, optimize automated processes, and ensure scalability.

Build, mentor, and oversee onshore/offshore AI and automation teams.

Translate technical capabilities into actionable strategies for business stakeholders.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

8+ years of progressive experience in technology, including leadership roles in AI/automation.

Strong background in machine learning, cloud-based AI platforms, and enterprise data systems.

Proficiency in programming and data analysis (e.g., Python, SQL).

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as RPA or workflow platforms.

Proven success managing cross-functional teams and large-scale AI initiatives.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple initiatives and occasional travel as needed.
