Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner

Introduction:

As a Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will play a key role in developing strategies and workflows within the existing medtech business intelligence platform. Working closely with the business team, you will be responsible for driving agile project management and program management to ensure successful implementation of data engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage enterprise software, data analytics, cloud migration, and data platform implementation projects.
• Utilize Azure cloud services and Databricks-based data platforms for project delivery.
• Oversee the data engineering delivery lifecycle from ingestion to production support.
• Coordinate Databricks concepts such as notebooks, jobs/workflows, clusters, Delta Lake, data pipelines, and production deployment.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint execution, and team velocity improvements.
• Utilize JIRA for sprint reporting, release tracking, and leadership-level delivery metrics.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, executive communication, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Lead multiple teams including development, QA, production support, DevOps, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate SDLC, UAT, defect management, release planning, change management, and post-production support.
• Create documentation such as project plans, process flows, status reports, and leadership presentations.
• Manage risks, dependencies, budgets, project finance tracking, and delivery governance.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Technical Project Management, Program Management, Scrum Master, or Agile delivery roles.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Databricks-based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data engineering delivery lifecycle.
• Good understanding of Databricks concepts and workflows.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with ability to lead ceremonies and manage sprint execution.
• Experience with JIRA, sprint reporting, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in cross-functional team coordination and executive communication.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and SDLC processes.
• Strong documentation and project management skills.
• Ability to manage risks, budgets, and delivery governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, Professional Scrum Master, or equivalent project/program management certification.
• Experience delivering data and analytics solutions in healthcare, life sciences, or supply chain domains.
• Experience managing DevOps and CI/CD delivery coordination for data platform releases.
• Ability to work with architects and engineering teams on technical risks and deployment impact.
