Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Data Center Technician to support both
inside and outside plant infrastructure for a high-performance enterprise data center. This role is critical to the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of physical infrastructure systems.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with hardware, cabling, and fiber optics, along with a strong understanding of data center environments and infrastructure operations.
Required Skills- Data center operations
- Rack & stack deployment
- Fiber optic and structured cabling (Cat6)
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Infrastructure installation and maintenance
- Linux and Windows 10 familiarity
Qualifications- Proven hands-on experience in a data center or similar environment
- Experience with both inside and outside plant infrastructure
- Knowledge of:
- Structured cabling standards
- Fiber optic technologies
- Ability to interpret:
- Blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with:
- HVAC systems
- Backup power systems
- Fire suppression systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams and vendors
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
