Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator S/4HANA, HANA Cloud & SAP BTP

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the administration, operation, and optimization of SAP landscapes across SAP S/4HANA (on-premise/private cloud), SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role supports hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring system availability, performance, security, and seamless integration while leveraging automation and modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP S/4HANA Administration

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems
• Perform system copies, client administration, and landscape management
• Support ECC to S/4HANA migrations and zero-downtime/near-zero-downtime activities

• SAP HANA Database Administration

• Monitor and tune SAP HANA database performance
• Manage backup, recovery, and high availability (System Replication)
• Perform sizing, capacity planning, and administration using SAP HANA Cockpit/Studio

• SAP HANA Cloud Administration

• Provision, configure, and scale SAP HANA Cloud instances
• Manage data federation and cloud-based database operations
• Ensure optimal performance and availability in cloud environments

• SAP BTP Administration

• Administer global accounts, subaccounts, and entitlements
• Configure services, subscriptions, destinations, and connectivity
• Manage security including roles, role collections, and Identity Authentication
• Set up and support Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments

• Cloud & Hybrid Landscape Management

• Support hybrid SAP landscapes integrating on-premise and cloud systems
• Work with hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Assist with cloud migration and integration strategies

• System Monitoring & Performance Management

• Monitor system health using SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run, and SAP Cloud ALM
• Analyze alerts and proactively optimize system performance, especially for HANA

• Transport & Change Management

• Manage transports using TMS and ChaRM
• Support cloud-based transport mechanisms within SAP BTP

• Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain basic automation using shell scripts or Python
• Support CI/CD pipelines in SAP BTP
• Leverage automation tools provided by hyperscalers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP Basis administration for S/4HANA and HANA environments
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BTP administration
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures and hyperscaler platforms
• Familiarity with SAP monitoring, security, and transport management tools
• Basic scripting and automation skills
