OverviewWe are seeking an Engineering Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural oversight across web and mobile development teams. This role will guide the transition toward
React Native, support a shared component strategy, and help introduce practical automation and AI-enabled capabilities where they can improve scalability and reduce operational load.
This is a
player-coach role requiring both strong technical execution and architectural decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as engineering lead and technical architect across web and mobile initiatives
- Guide React React Native modernization and shared component strategy
- Define and enforce development standards, patterns, and best practices
- Lead design reviews, mentor senior and mid-level engineers, and provide technical direction
- Identify and implement pragmatic automation and AI-assisted workflows to support scale
- Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to align technology to product goals
- Support interviewing and evaluation of senior technical candidates as needed
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Prior experience as an Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, or Architect
- Strong hands-on expertise with React and leadership experience with React Native
- Experience designing and leading shared codebases or monorepo architectures
- Strong system design and architectural decision-making skills
- Clear communicator able to collaborate across product, engineering, and leadership teams
- Availability during U.S. business hours (Central Time alignment required)
Preferred Qualifications- Healthcare or regulated-industry experience
- Epic or EHR-integrated platform familiarity
- Experience applying automation or AI to reduce manual or low-value work
- Background in scaling platforms across multiple products or user bases
