A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and automating data workflows that support critical business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with large datasets and a modern, forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights
Build and maintain automated reporting and data workflows using AI tools and Excel-based solutions (Power Query, macros, VBA)
Apply AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, or similar) to automate repetitive data tasks and improve process efficiency
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
Document data processes, methodologies, and automation workflows for knowledge sharing and continuity
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all deliverables
Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed by the business
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience in a data analyst role (5 years preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Lookups, etc
Demonstrated experience using AI tools to automate data tasks and workflows
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for AI tools
Hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple formats (CSV, Excel, databases, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Working knowledge in SQL or Python for data querying and automation
Experience in a sales operations, finance, or supply chain environment
