AI Engineer (Dialogflow) (1)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Conversational AI Engineer with deep expertise in Dialogflow CX to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade conversational agents. This role requires hands-on experience in building scalable chatbot solutions, integrating with backend systems, and leveraging modern AI techniques such as Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Key Responsibilities

1. Conversational AI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain conversational AI solutions using Dialogflow ES/CX

• Build and manage conversational flows, intents, entities, and fulfillment logic

• Architect scalable, reusable, and maintainable chatbot frameworks

2. Integration & Backend Development

• Develop middleware and backend services using Python or similar languages

• Integrate conversational agents with enterprise systems via APIs and webhooks

• Work with RESTful services and third-party platforms

3. Optimization & NLP

• Apply NLP/NLU best practices to enhance chatbot accuracy and performance

• Manage conversational context and handle edge cases effectively

• Continuously train, tune, and optimize NLU models

4. Generative AI & Advanced Capabilities

• Implement and manage Generative AI features, including:

  • Playbooks

  • Data Stores for RAG-based solutions

• Enhance chatbot intelligence using modern AI frameworks and techniques

5. Testing, Monitoring & Analytics

• Implement logging, monitoring, and performance tracking mechanisms

• Develop automated testing strategies for conversational workflows

• Analyze user interactions and metrics to improve system performance

6. Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with UX designers and business stakeholders to define user journeys

• Ensure conversation design aligns with business goals and optimal user experience

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and conduct code reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX / Conversational Agent Builder

• Solid understanding of NLP/NLU concepts

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services such as:

  • CCAI

  • Cloud Functions

  • Pub/Sub

• Expertise in API integrations, webhooks, and RESTful services

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby

• Familiarity with SDLC, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with databases: BigQuery, MySQL, MongoDB

• Understanding of conversational design and speech recognition concepts

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON

• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Generative AI implementations

• Exposure to chatbot platforms beyond Dialogflow

• Knowledge of computer vision, algorithms, or knowledge management systems
