We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract role in Dallas, TX.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PM) to lead a critical internal modernization initiative. This project will migrate managed services operations from a legacy, custom-built .NET application (CatTime) into Kantata (formerly Mavenlink), enabling standardization across the consulting organization.
This initiative is already underway but requires strong leadership to recover schedule delays, establish structure, and drive execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive end-to-end project delivery for the CatTime to Kantata migration.
Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and project blockers.
Establish governance, reporting cadence, and stakeholder communication processes.
Hold cross-functional teams accountable for deliverables and timelines.
Facilitate decision-making across business and IT stakeholders.
Navigate resistance to change and ensure alignment across managed services teams.
Coordinate closely with internal IT development teams executing system changes.
Provide regular status updates to PMO leadership and executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience, including enterprise system implementations or migrations.
Proven experience recovering or delivering complex, at-risk projects.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience managing stakeholder resistance and organizational change.
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Project
Azure DevOps
Microsoft ecosystem tools
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with PSA tools such as Kantata/Mavenlink.
Background in consulting services or managed services environments.
Familiarity with legacy system modernization initiatives.
Work Environment
Remote-first role; candidates must be based in the Dallas area.
Minimal in-office requirements (e.g., key IT meetings, occasional collaboration sessions).
Will remain primarily remote (not expected to shift to hybrid).
