Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Sr. Engineer GenAI & MLOps (AWS). This is a 12+ month contract opportunity based in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).
Seeking a Senior GenAI & MLOps Engineer to design, deploy, and scale Generative AI and ML solutions on AWS. The role focuses on building production-grade ML/LLM pipelines, automating model lifecycle, deploying scalable AI services, and ensuring governance and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years in software/ML engineering with strong experience in cloud-based ML deployments and governance practices.
- Strong experience in Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and RAG frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in MLOps and ML lifecycle management.
- AWS services: SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, EKS/ECS, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, AWS Organizations & governance controls.
- Programming: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Frameworks: LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- API development using FastAPI/Flask.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure & CI/CD: Terraform/CloudFormation, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of model governance, access control, data security, and compliance practices.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage end-to-end MLOps pipelines for training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Deploy and optimize Generative AI/LLM applications, including RAG-based solutions.
- Productionize ML models and enable scalable inference services.
- Implement CI/CD automation for ML workflows.
- Monitor model performance, drift detection, and automated retraining.
- Implement AI/ML governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI controls.
- Collaborate with data science and DevOps teams to integrate AI solutions.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $80/hour to $85/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
