Job Title: Full Stack Developer (.NET)
Location: Lansing, MI (2 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: 12+ Months
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst 6 - Full Stack Developer (.NET) to support the modernization of legacy IT applications currently operating on end-of-life technologies. These applications support compliance, security, registration, and database-driven business functions. The role focuses on rewriting and enhancing systems using modern, supported technologies to reduce operational risk and improve long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications
- Develop modern front-end components using React
- Build and maintain APIs and server-side logic using .NET (C#)
- Design, optimize, and maintain data models and queries using SQL Server
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and business analysts
- Adhere to clean code standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities
- Support application modernization efforts and ongoing system enhancements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack application development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET (C#), including API and server-side development
- 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Availability for in-person interviews
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (no remote-only option)
- Must be local to Michigan at the time of submission
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Willingness to comply with organizational security and compliance standards
