Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer (.NET / Ruby on Rails) to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade web applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, Microservices, Azure/AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development. Experience in the Financial Services or Mortgage domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, and Ruby on Rails
- Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices for cloud-native applications
- Apply BDD/TDD methodologies using RSpec and NUnit to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Build, test, and deploy applications through automated CI/CD pipelines
- Prepare and support production deployments while ensuring application stability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely support for live applications
- Optimize SQL queries, database design, and application performance across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, IAM, and CIAM standards
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Contribute to technical documentation, solution design, and continuous process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Services, Mortgage, or Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS)
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud-native application development
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices
