As a Revenue Cycle Architect on our embedded team, you will lead revenue cycle integration, workflow, and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will influence workflow and technical decisions, articulating operational and financial impacts to both client and company project teams. You will bring hands-on expertise across Cerner Oracle Health patient access, Health Information Management and coding, and patient accounting, including Soarian, Invision, and Oracle Health Patient Accounting, with a proven track record of implementation delivery and post-live optimization.
In this role, you will:
- You will articulate the operational and financial impacts of decisions to customer stakeholders and Oracle Cerner project teams. You will engage customer executive leadership to set expectations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues.
- Consult with business operations leadership, CFOs, CIOs, and revenue cycle leaders to define financial metrics, key performance indicators, and areas of opportunity during implementations.
- Lead and facilitate discovery and design workshops; define scope, requirements, decision logs, and measurable success criteria; drive deliverables through build, testing (SIT/UAT), training, and Go-Live.
- Provide consistent, high-quality, and innovative solution leadership to project teams, leading solution design and implementation to ensure integrated software solutions are delivered within time and budget constraints.
- Identify and execute optimization initiatives post-implementation (e.g., clean claim rate, DNFB, AR days, denial prevention, POS collections), quantify results, and socialize improvements with stakeholders.
- Work with Revenue Cycle Leadership to manage and resolve project escalations as one of the primary points of contact.
- Serve as a recognized authority and leading contributor within your practice.

Preferred Qualifications:- 10+ years of Oracle Health solution consulting experience in revenue cycle applications.
- Proven track record over the last 2-3 years delivering revenue cycle projects, including managing scope, schedule, and deliverables with measurable outcomes.
- Experience in system solution design, configuration, and validation, as well as expertise in conversion processes and current state assessment.
- Experience with integration between clinical applications and revenue cycle.
- Proven track record of leading process optimization initiatives to improve revenue integrity, reduce denials, and optimize workflows.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope/timelines, and drive change across stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with major EHR, Practice Management, and Billing systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with the following applications: BedRock, PFTTools, ProfitBusinessManager, Olympus, CSPricingTool, CSChargeViewer, Revenue Cycle, PowerChart, DFT / HL7 interfaces, Scheduling Appointment Book
- Experience working with 3M Encoder, Health Benefits Manager, Cerner Contract Management.
- Experience writing Cerner Command Language queries and programs.

- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an approved virtual location.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:- Lead cross-functional Oracle and customer teams to recommend and implement workflow and process improvements using Oracle Health products and technology.
- Facilitate integrated discussion topics during implementation projects, ensuring upstream and downstream impacts are considered in proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with customer revenue cycle leadership and consulting teams to design best-practice workflows and maximize revenue cycle performance, influencing customer decision-makers by articulating operational and financial impacts of workflow and technical choices.
- Drive RevCycle testing strategies, advise customer on the development and implementation of test scripts to maximize financial outcomes, recommend best practice testing procedures, and track RevCycle testing outcomes. Partner with Integration Architect to ensure RevCycle testing strategies align with overall Test Strategy.
- Consult on go-live strategies, including in-house charge conversion, claims release strategies, operational cutover steps, and establishing the meetings required for go-live stability.
- Track revenue cycle metrics to identify technical and operational bottlenecks, monitor go-live stability, and ensure readiness for turnover to support.
- Lead clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues.
- Proactively identify risks, drive mitigation plans, and communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders.
- Serve as main point of contact for customer and Oracle revenue cycle leadership to manage and resolve project escalations.
- Consult with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, KPIs, and reporting prior to conversion; participate in legacy accounts receivable planning and decisions.
- Apply Oracle methodology, internal standards, and industry-leading practices across all phases of project delivery.
- Participate in business development and maintain current industry and product knowledge.
- Provide measurable, consistent feedback, mentoring team members and contributing to continuous process improvement within the Revenue Cycle Architect community.
