Job Summary

The Senior Software Engineer (Cloud EPM) is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud EPM solutions. This role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analytics using EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, and related tools. The position requires strong techno-functional expertise, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to lead integrations and automation across finance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle Cloud EPM solutions (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, Reporting)
  • Build and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, Groovy scripts, and automation processes
  • Design dimensional models, metadata structures, hierarchies, and security frameworks
  • Develop and manage integrations using DM/FDMEE, REST APIs, EPM Automate, OIC, and middleware tools
  • Automate data loads, metadata refreshes, reconciliations, and financial close processes
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues
  • Lead upgrades, patch validations, and environment refresh activities
  • Develop and maintain BIP reports for financial and operational reporting
  • Optimize application performance, calculations, and large data volumes
  • Implement testing strategies (unit, regression, automation)
  • Enforce governance, version control, and change management processes
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and IT stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Lead EPM initiatives and mentor junior team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering or EPM solutions
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS)
  • Expertise in Cost Allocations, Strategic Modeling, and financial close processes
  • Experience with Oracle ERP integrations and General Ledger concepts
  • Strong experience with OIC, APIs, EPM Automate, and data integration tools
  • Proficiency in Groovy scripting, business rules, and automation
  • Experience with BIP reporting and analytics
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead implementations and walk through full project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Exposure to SOX controls and audit compliance
  • Oracle EPM certifications (ARCS, FCCS, EPM Cloud)
  • Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms
  • Multiple Oracle EPM implementation cycles
