Client Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner / Product Expert with deep end-to-end knowledge of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) solutions in the loan industry. This role requires ownership of the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and scope definition to launch—while ensuring compliance, customer experience excellence, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision

o Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for BNPL solutions in the loan domain.

o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.

• End-to-End Product Lifecycle

o Manage the complete product cycle: ideation, scope definition, design, development, testing, and launch.

o Ensure timely delivery by collaborating with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams.

• Stakeholder Engagement

o Pitch and present product concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

o Act as the primary liaison for client discussions and product demonstrations.

• Customer Experience

o Design and optimize user journeys for a seamless BNPL experience.

o Gather feedback and continuously improve product features to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Compliance & Risk Management

o Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in the loan industry.

o Work closely with legal and risk teams to mitigate potential issues.

• Performance Monitoring

o Define KPIs and track product performance post-launch.

o Implement improvements based on data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in financial services, preferably in BNPL or loan products.

• Strong understanding of loan origination systems, payment solutions, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to pitch and articulate product concepts effectively.

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in digital lending platforms and customer experience design.

• Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and credit scoring models.

• Familiarity with API integrations and technology stacks used in BNPL solutions.
