Location: Plano, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
This role involves managing project delivery for application development teams within the pharmacy space. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. The position requires a hands-on approach to project management, interacting with business stakeholders, pharmacy operations, and engineers to ensure schedules are maintained and project goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of a project, including scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables.
- Lead the planning effort, including the definition of deliverables, resource assignment, and creation of a work breakdown structure.
* Manage end-to-end application development projects, ensuring adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Interact with business units, pharmacy operations, and engineering teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor milestones, and generate periodic status reports.
- Create and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in an environment with some ambiguity.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 7-10 years of directly related project management experience. Experience in a healthcare setting is highly recommended.
Technical Skills:- Proven experience with project management methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, and Agile.
- Strong understanding of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with project management tools for status reporting, metrics, and risk management, such as JIRA.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, timeline management, and risk management.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing story boards.
- Experience with Azure or Databricks.
- Experience supporting the implementation of identity and access management solutions like Entra MFA.
