Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer/Architect to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of services in the Azure cloud. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployments, improve workflows, and deliver a seamless cloud experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related technologies
- Automate application build, test, and deployment processes
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible
- Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, and Azure Storage
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Manage code repositories and enforce version control using Git (Azure Repos or GitHub)
- Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and logging tools
- Ensure cloud infrastructure follows best practices for security, including identity management, access control, encryption, and vulnerability management
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize workflows
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve pipeline efficiency
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management
- Expertise in Azure services including AKS, App Services, Virtual Machines, and Storage
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, or Azure CLI)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
- Strong experience in Git-based version control systems (Azure Repos, GitHub)
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VNETs, subnets, VPNs) and security best practices (RBAC, encryption, firewalls)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure and deployment issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
- Proven hands-on experience in Azure environments and DevOps practices
