Summary

Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 3-month contract in Canal Winchester, OH 43110.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Contract Duration: 3 months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 0-2 years of field dispatch repair and hands-on hardware experience (printers, PCs, POS, etc.), break-fix, use of power tools (e.g., drills), and familiar with the ticketing system.
  • Lexmark certifications and experience.
  • Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs, and HP, Dell, and Lenovo.
  • Previous Field Service and/or Desktop, POS, printer Break/Fix experience
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record required (This is a driving position - reimbursed accordingly)
  • Active driver's license.
  • CompTIA A+
  • Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
  • Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.


What You Will Be Doing
  • Travel to customer sites to provide on-site IT support.
  • Perform break-fix and IMAC services.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware, including printers (laser, Fuji, large-format), laptops, servers, POS systems, restaurant IT hardware, and network devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and POS systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
  • Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
  • Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone.
  • Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards.
