Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist (ServiceNow HAM)

Title: Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist (ServiceNow HAM).

Location:  Euless, TX.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

(Plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist skilled in using ServiceNow HAM to maintain and service hardware inventory and full life cycle of the hardware. The Specialist will be responsible to ensure the optimal use, tracking, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance of all company-owned assets.

Required Experience (3+ years):

• Experience in IT Asset Management
• Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Experience using ServiceNow to maintain and service hardware inventory and full life cycle of the hardware.
• Experience applying the knowledge of the principles and practices of facilities maintenance and asset management.
• Experience demonstrating knowledge of IT procurement processes and vendor management.
• Experience demonstrating strong understanding of IT hardware and software.
• Experience demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience demonstrating proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
• Experience demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Experience applying the knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Reliable transportation and possession of a valid class C driver's license
• Ability to obtain CJIS certification in order to manage Department of Public Safety projects with sensitive data requirements.

Preferred Certification:

• Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct technical expertise, support, and oversight of the Airport’s IT department systems.
• Responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and other technology-related resources.
• Apply keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure efficient asset management to actively manage these systems while maintaining maximum operational readiness and life cycle value. 
• Become familiar with the basics of DFW Airport’s Environmental Management System & Environmental Policy and implement Best Management & Good Housekeeping Practices.
