Product Manager - Asset Backed Financing

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Product Manager - Asset-Based Finance Platforms in New York, NY.

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of technology platforms that support a global Asset-Based Finance (ABF) investment business. This role centers on building modern, data-driven tools that enhance portfolio management, deal modeling, risk assessment, and performance analytics across a wide range of structured finance and credit assets. You will partner closely with Investment, Risk, Operations, Legal, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions used across the full investment lifecycle.

Duties:
* Develop and own a multi-year product strategy and roadmap for ABF technologies, ensuring alignment with global business objectives; Establish measurable goals and continuously refine priorities based on user feedback, evolving market dynamics, and organizational needs
* Lead and mentor a team of product managers responsible for building tools that support ABF investment workflows; Guide products from concept through delivery, promoting consistency and high-quality user experience across regions
* Drive the creation of advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities that enhance visibility into risk, exposures, and performance
* Collaborate with Engineering to define standardized metrics and build reliable, real-time insights
* Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to gather requirements, integrate regulatory nuances, and ensure adoption of scalable solutions
* Oversee third-party solution assessments and manage vendor relationships to guarantee high-quality, cost-effective platforms
* Champion a platform-driven approach that supports interoperability, reuse, and seamless integration across investment and risk ecosystems

REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive experience (10+ years) in product management, data analytics, investment technology, asset management, or related fields, with deep knowledge of Asset-Based Finance products and workflows
* Expertise across multiple ABF asset types, including consumer credit, residential mortgages, structured credit, and distressed or non-performing assets
* Hands-on experience with structured deal modeling and analytics, including scenario analysis, cash flow forecasting, and waterfall structures
* Strong understanding of asset-specific risk drivers such as delinquency, prepayment behavior, default timing, and recovery assumptions
* Track record of delivering intuitive, scalable tools for investment and risk teams, informed by strong user-research and design practices
* Ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts effectively to leadership and cross-functional partners
* Experience partnering with engineering teams to design scalable data models, workflow automation, and architecture for structured finance processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
