POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Lead data governance, stewardship, and security initiatives to ensure data quality, consistency, accessibility, and compliance across the organization.
  • Partner with operational, financial, and executive stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  • Architect, build, and optimize data pipelines, data models, dashboards, reports, and automated workflows using Databricks, Microsoft data platforms, SQL, Python, and related technologies.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, analytics, reporting, data modeling, testing, validation, and ongoing solution maintenance.
  • Analyze complex datasets to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Balance hands-on technical leadership with team management responsibilities, driving process automation, resolving data challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of reporting and analytics initiatives.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's in a technical, analytical, or related field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline preferred; Masters degree preferred
  • 5 to 10 years' relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading, supervising, or developing employees while maintaining hands-on technical responsibilities
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and strong working experience with Python for data transformation, analysis, and automation
  • Demonstrated experience with Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft data and analytics technologies
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data models, pipelines, reporting solutions, and automated workflows

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $123,900 - $192,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
