Summary
Position: Google Cloud Solution Architect
Location: San Jose, CA - Hybrid
Duration: 12+Months with possible extensions
Must Have Skills:
- Google Cloud Platform Architecture
- Microsoft Azure Architecture- Nice to have
- Good to have semiconductor knowledge or earlier worked with any semiconductor companies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions for infrastructure and applications in Google Cloud Platform.
- Create and maintain reference architectures, guiding principles, and solution building blocks for enterprise cloud adoption.
- Define technology standards and future state roadmaps for cloud services and programmable infrastructure.
- Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions through proper design and implementation.
- Lead architectural decisions for Google Cloud Platform implementations while communicating impacts to stakeholders.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and position papers to drive technological improvements and innovation.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform & Product Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Proven experience setting up enterprise-level account structures and security models in Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based delivery models, PaaS offerings, and data integration patterns.
- Experience applying engineering and coding skills in agile environments with DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with IT architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) and service management processes (ITIL).
- Demonstrated ability to create technical roadmaps and drive architectural decisions at enterprise scale.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
