Sales AI Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of AI models across the sales lifecycle. This role combines deep sales expertise with data-driven collaboration to ensure AI-driven sales interactions are persuasive, empathetic, context-aware, and aligned with proven sales methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with AI, data science, and product teams to evaluate AI models across prospecting, qualification, objection handling, negotiation, and closing
• Review and validate AI-generated sales conversations for accuracy, tone, empathy, and effectiveness
• Identify gaps, hallucinations, and ineffective sales tactics, and provide actionable improvement insights
• Define success metrics related to conversion, objection recovery, and deal progression
• Support data labeling, annotation, and prompt design for different buyer personas and industries
• Stay current on modern sales methodologies and ethical AI practices

Qualifications

• 7+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience
• Strong knowledge of sales funnels, CRM processes, and sales methodologies
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
