Summary

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Windows 365 Cloud PC Engineer for a CONTRACT to hire assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Dallas, Texas. Hybrid: 3 days/week in the office.
Ensure the reliable, secure, and optimized delivery of Windows 365 Cloud PCs while leading the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions in partnership with the Virtual Workspace Architect. This role provides expert engineering leadership to establish scalable standards, automations, and operational patterns. The engineer is expected to uplift existing teams by providing structured mentoring, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer, ensuring long-term capability within the organization.
Operate within a global enterprise environment serving more than 100,000 users with a rapidly expanding Windows 365 Cloud PC footprint. Contribute to defining scalable engineering patterns and best practices that support global adoption across the firm's Enterprise Platforms and Virtual Workspace teams. Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, engineering, and vendor partners to ensure consistent, secure, and resilient Cloud PC delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient Windows 365 Cloud PC engineering solutions across the enterprise in partnership with the Virtual Workspace Architect and other platform teams.
  • Define and implement standard engineering patterns, automation frameworks, and operational models for Cloud PC provisioning, configuration, performance optimization, and compliance enforcement.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to support Cloud PC lifecycle management and operational efficiency.
  • Produce clear engineering documentation, architecture guidance, and operational standards to support consistent platform adoption across enterprise teams.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex Windows 365 issues, performing deep troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing permanent corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Vendor teams to ensure Cloud PC deployments meet enterprise security and compliance requirements.
  • Lead engineering mentorship initiatives including training sessions, pair-engineering, and hands-on troubleshooting workshops.
  • Develop and execute a structured knowledge transfer and mentoring plan to elevate the technical capabilities of internal engineering and operations teams.
  • Provide technical thought leadership and recommendations that influence the future-state architecture of Windows 365 and Virtual Workspace platforms.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience engineering and delivering Windows 365 Cloud PC solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including identity, access policies, and security configuration.
  • Experience designing large-scale Cloud PC provisioning and configuration frameworks.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Graph API for automation and platform integration.
  • Expertise in performance optimization, diagnostics, and troubleshooting within virtual desktop environments.
  • Ability to create repeatable engineering standards, operational patterns, and documentation.
  • Experience mentoring engineering teams and delivering structured knowledge transfer sessions.
Preferred Skills
  • Azure administration experience.
  • Virtual desktop platform experience across enterprise environments.
  • Experience collaborating across global infrastructure and enterprise platform teams.
  • Spanish language skills for global collaboration.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
