Description
We are looking for an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Montgomery, Illinois. This role involves providing technical assistance to both warehouse and office users, ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user support across various levels and expertise in hardware, networking, and software troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Deliver technical support for employees in both office and warehouse settings, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Respond promptly to user IT requests, logging and managing them through the ticketing system.
Configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and network devices.
Administer and resolve basic issues with Microsoft 365, ensuring smooth functionality.
Order and set up IT equipment for end users, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Create and update technical documentation to assist users and improve IT processes.
Promote cyber security best practices among users, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Provide expertise in warehouse systems, including packing, labeling, and printing equipment.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex IT issues and improve system performance.
Support additional technologies such as Axis Camera Station, EnGenius WiFi access points, and Synology systems when needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting and configuration, including laptops, desktops, printers, and network devices.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and basic Microsoft 365 administration.
Ability to manage service desk tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of warehouse systems, such as packing and labeling equipment, is highly beneficial.
Understanding of general networking principles and WiFi device setup.
Experience with tools like Slack, Bitwarden, Sonicwall Firewall, and Capture Client is a plus.
Strong documentation skills to create user-friendly technical guides.
Commitment to maintaining cyber security and company IT protocols.
