Job Title: Ariba Business Analyst

Role Summary
This role will lead UAT preparation and execution for the Ariba rollout, acting as the bridge between IT and business users. The BA will help business partners understand new processes, define test scenarios, and successfully validate the solution before rollout.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead UAT strategy and planning
· Define and document UAT test scenarios and test cases
· Translate Abbott‑defined Ariba processes into business‑friendly UAT scripts
· Partner closely with:
o Finance
o Procurement
o Facilities
o Other key business teams
· Support business users during:
o UAT preparation
o Test execution
o Defect triage and retesting
· Help ensure validation of:
o Approval workflows
o Financial controls
o Operational and compliance requirements
· Continue supporting the program beyond UAT as needed (hypercare, process clarifications, enhancements)
· Strong hands‑on experience with Ariba
· Proven experience leading UAT for enterprise applications
· Ability to work with business users new to a platform
· Experience documenting test cases for:
o Complex scenarios
o Controls‑heavy processes
· Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
· Prior experience with Abbott or similar regulated environments is a plus
· Maximo exposure helpful but not required
